I’m a daydreamer, designer, and dog lover. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by mountains, water, and trees. Growing up in such a beautiful place instilled in me a love of all things outdoors, and this is apparent in the inspiration I take from nature and apply to my design. Humor, an enthusiasm for adventure, and a love of fruit are all things that make me who I am. I aim to use my design to inspire and inform; my design is my attempt to bring the beauty I see in creation into pieces of art.
My Design Philosophy
Trees. I am inspired by trees, and the color blue, and the imperfect geometry of mountains. I am inspired by nature. My approach to design has always been one that pares away complex components to create something that is effective and beautiful through its simplicity. Taking inspiration from outdoor elements, whether that be colors or textures or shapes, I work to design pieces that feel natural in their minimalist approach. Design allows me to convey messages in a fashion that juxtaposes the information itself with a visually appealing aesthetic. Through this, I aim to inspire; to inform through beautiful work; to create so others can enjoy. To design well.
